Paris!

Okay, we made it to Paris!

Here's our first look of the Eiffel Tower as we emerged from the Museum of Architecture on the Place du Trocadéro.

Cathedral

Can't leave Glasgow without a couple from Glasgow Cathedral, the oldest building in Glasgow (13th century), with its Tomb of St. Kentigern or St. Mungo as he was known as.

Just a touch

Besides red, a touch of pink works just as well. As seen around Argyle St. and Sloans Market in Glasgow.

Glasgow

First stop was Glasgow, where I was for about a day, until we took the train to Stirling.

Scotland brings to mind, red, brown and grey.  I even packed my red tartan scarf and trench for the occasion (I didn't have to use my scarf because it wasn't quite so cold) but I did see quite a bit of red, brown and grey.

Here, a few from our walk about town.

Quebec City

I've been day-dreaming about Paris and everything Parisian!  The closest we get to Paris is Quebec City, and I love the historic quaintness about it.  There's the Old City, the poutine, the cobblestones, staying at the Chateau Frontenac, having coffee and tea at Le Saint-Amour before dinner hours even begin (!) and hearing stories about Sir Paul McCartney's dinner there and seeing his menu!

It's a wonderful place to visit.

Here are some captures.

Integral House

Recently, we had the opportunity to shadow marvel photographer Bob Gundu in capturing the incredible architecture of Integral House during An Integral Affair: in support of the Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre.

Integral House is owned by James Stewart, mathematician, musician and author of the Calculus textbooks you may have used.
