Boston Fashion Week ended with a bang on Friday September 30, when Daniela Corte's collection came down the runway. It was one of the most exciting events, the TENT was completely sold out and filled to the brim.
Here are my favourites!
It's been so much fun shooting in the press pit at Boston Fashion Week!
On Thursday September 29, Jeff Lahens' show took centre stage in The Tent at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Boston. The collection was his own as well as a collaboration with Uniform, Bobby from Boston and Drinkwaters. What an incredibly good time! Everyone was pumped; the tunes were upbeat and the models had PROPS! PROPS! Jeff Lahens is such a nice guy; we hung out with him for a bit in the lounge after the Carter Smith show on Friday night.
It’s been great shooting in Boston Fashion Week 2011!
The Paper Store is one of the sponsors of Boston Fashion Week and it was great to meet Kris and Taylor in the lounge where beautiful items from The Paper Store were on display.
One such window held gorgeous, delicate charm bracelets by Chamilia. The crystals and stones mixed with glass and gold are stunning, and would make an amazing gift for a loved one for Christmas. *Hint Hint* Hahaha :)

With Haitian/European roots and a love for vintage menswear and influenced by his Father, Jeff Lahens is the Head Designer and Creative Director at ECC Life & Style, a luxury menswear company. He is also the Fashion Curator at DressCodeBoston.com which launched in 2010, promoting classic, individual and modern men's fashions.
Jeff Lahens was also selected as one of the 25 most stylish Bostonians of 2008!
Here is a sampling of the music to be played at the Jeff Lahen's Show TONIGHT at 9pm at The Tent at Boston Fashion Week! I LOVE IT! I am so looking forward to capturing this collection!

Last night, the Lily & Migs show took center stage in The Tent!
Wow.
I've heard chiffon is a difficult material to work with (thanks Project Runway!) so, watching these gorgeous, pleated, fitted, blousy, multiple tiered creations (in chiffon! silk! and georgette!) strutting down the runway was truly a delight. Such a beautiful collection and those models were rocking some amazing fish-tail braids!
Here, some of my favourite shots from before the show, during and after. It was great meeting Jenn of the Jenn & Lauren team behind Lily & Migs!

As seen in the Amsterdam flower market. Love the red lips, fab colours and the bow in her hair!
Would you wear a bow in your hair? (photo: photohogger)
Boston Fashion Week is here! It's my first #BFW2011 and I'm looking forward to shooting some of the shows starting next week!
For now, I'll feature the designers I'm looking forward to.
The brains behind the design are Jenn and Lauren, who met as interns at Betsey Johnson in '08. Their label is contemporary, fun and versatile with looks that can be paired and worn with anything! I love how their company name came about from the process of naming each of their kids, too. How sweet!

Missoni for Target had everyone in a frenzy. The website was down for some time, then Missoni items were all over Ebay. My sister went to Target and scored some really cute items for herself and for me! She got me this shirt and these pumps. The pumps are a bit loose on me so they may go back, but aren't they pretty? (Photos: photohogger)
Some of my girlfriends from Toronto were visiting this weekend, so I decided to wear my Missoni shirt for our day out and about in Boston on Saturday. I wore it with skinny jeans, pearls and sunglasses and because we were walking around, Converse and an army green jacket with rolled up sleeves.
We also had a ball of a good time shopping at the Wrentham Outlets on Friday. The girls scored a great deal at the Vince Camuto outlet as they were having a "Buy One Get One 1/2 off" sale. I almost bought the same pair as my BFF but then I would have had to employ the "Buy One Throw One Out" rule. ;)
I bought these leopard printed Me Too flats on sale; they're one of my favourite pairs to wear. Lately though, and especially after looking at this photo, I feel that they're starting to stretch oddly. Hence the toe cleavage.
Enquiring minds need to know. Yay or nay to toe cleavage? How much is too much? (photo, photohogger)
Amsterdam was fairly chilly, something I wasn't really expecting. I knew it was raining over there, but it was quite cold, as well, which resulted in me having to purchase a hooded trench from H&M before I froze my a$$ off. If only I'd seen something like what these two were sporting. These ladies sure knew how to keep warm. And notice the red pants. <3
What do you think of the army jacket? Is it something you'd wear this fall? (photo, photohogger)
Hi guys! I'm back from Amsterdam. We also went to Greece for a week, but more on that later.
Firstly, I absolutely loved Amsterdam.
Holy bicycles, Batman! And the multitasking that these men and women do on their bicycles. And in such beautifully tailored suits and magnificent heels. Impressive, to say the least. I can barely ride a bike let alone, hold an umbrella. Or, in this case, a cigarette.
Love the two tone booties with leather pants. (photos by photohogger)
How are you at multi-tasking on a bicycle?
