The straw fedora is so popular this summer; I have to admit I have one too, which I bought at a flea market in Paris last summer, and love wearing it with everything from dresses to shorts and a t-shirt.

Sorry for being MIA last week ladies; was in Montreal and will post some photos, soon! For now, here's a very cool girl as seen in Boston. Yellow Pants
I'm back from Boston! We had a wonderful time, would you believe it was 32-38°C there! Wow, amazingly hot. Absolutely loved it. I should have packed more shorts and t-shirts!

Long Weekend. What to Pack?
Canada celebrated Victoria Day last weekend and since we were staycationing, I lounged around alternating between pjs, gardening attire (pjs) and more pjs, but this weekend we're off to Boston, so I'm wondering what to pack. And as it's Memorial Day for those south of the border a lot of you may be wondering the same!
Any plans for the weekend?
Also, as we're moving to Boston in August, this week is mostly all about looking for housing, so if you have any tips on good neighbourhoods, let me know!

Refinery29 just annouced the launch of Luxemi.com, the online source for lovely indian clothing, which you can RENT from too. If you've ever been to an Indian wedding or function, you know how expensive those outfits can be, not to mention the accessories (which btw, they rent out, too!) and often times you'll only wear a sari, that you bought for $$$, once! BIG Bows + PRABAL Gurung
Exciting that Prabal Gurung has a new collection at J.Crew. Although I'm not much of J.Crew fan, I do like me some bows, and this very limited edition (only 50 pieces made of some of the styles and some already sold out) is all "exploding" bows.

Pleats
I used to have a black pleated midi skirt that I gave away a long time ago. Don't you regret doing that when the style comes back? I love how graceful these pleated skirts look, and how perfect for summer?

Michelle + Kate
Finally a post Royal Wedding event that I've we've all been waiting for.
The President and Michelle Obama visited Buckingham Palace and Kate and Wills were on hand to meet and greet them. Kate was wearing a gorgeous $340 Reiss dress (the Reiss website has apparently crashed now, due to the number of people trying to snag this dress for themselves) and looked stunning with a slight tan from their honeymoon in the Seychelles.

To Bang or not to Bang?
Rachel Bilson (such a cutie!) has regretted getting bangs saying they're "‘Too Much Maintenance!". Totally true especially if they don't fall perfectly on your face.
