Army

Amsterdam was fairly chilly, something I wasn't really expecting.  I knew it was raining over there, but it was quite cold, as well, which resulted in me having to purchase a hooded trench from H&M before I froze my a$$ off.  If only I'd seen something like what these two were sporting.  These ladies sure knew how to keep warm.  And notice the red pants.  <3

What do you think of the army jacket?  Is it something you'd wear this fall?  (photo, photohogger)

Chanel No 19 on August 19

To celebrate Gabrielle Coco Chanel's August 19th birthday, CHANEL is launching the new No.19 Poudré fragrance.

I used to wear COCO Chanel and now I like the smell of Coco Mademoiselle, but my go-to scent has always been Clinique's Happy and more recently Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy.

Are you a Chanel fragrance fan?  Which do you like?  Or if not, what is your favourite go-to scent?

CHANEL National Event
Saks Fifth Avenue, Boston
800 Boylston Street
Friday, August 19 and Saturday, August 20

Happy Canada Day!

The lovely Royal Couple are in Ottawa today for Canada's birthday!

How stunning is the Duchess of Cambridge?  Wearing the same cream coloured Reiss dress she wore for their official engagment shoot, topped with a beautiful red maple leaf fascinator by Sylvia Fletcher for Lock & Co., she looks absolutely incredible!  (Images via Dailymail)

Michelle + Kate

Finally a post Royal Wedding event that I've  we've all been waiting for.

The President and Michelle Obama visited Buckingham Palace and Kate and Wills were on hand to meet and greet them.  Kate was wearing a gorgeous $340 Reiss dress (the Reiss website has apparently crashed now, due to the number of people trying to snag this dress for themselves) and looked stunning with a slight tan from their honeymoon in the Seychelles.

This photo is my favourite.

See more of the dress and their meeting at NYMag.com!

Red Pants

I so want a pair of red pants for the summer.  Goes so well with camel, don't you think? Is this something you'd wear ladies?

To be laying about in the sun...on that veranda. Sigh.

Are any of you headed off on vacation this summer?
