Boston Pizza

Location:
2458 Queen St E.,Brampton

I'd never been to a Boston Pizza before but have seen it many times from driving across four lanes. It is the quintessential surburban restaurant.

Oddly, we didn't care for pizza that day and opted for sandwiches and burgers.

Menu described it as follows:

Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
Breaded chicken breast fillet tossed in hot sauce served on a toasted French-style bun with lettuce, tomato and our creamy garlic parmesan sauce.

The "tossed in hot sauce" didn't really come across, as it was kind of bland, but it is what it is.

BP's Prime Rib Burger
Consider this: 100% Canadian (just like us) half-pound prime rib beef patty, fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion and pickles. Plus, our secret ingredient - a zesty sauce that simply defies description. Recommended for burger connoisseurs.

BP's Prime Rib Burger, with bacon $10.95

I'm not a burger connoisseurs, but I do like a good Craft Burger once in a while (craving one right now, in fact!). The burger was a bit too meaty for me, would probably not order it again. However, the fries were perfect.

And our service was fine.

It was just really nice to enjoy the patio with some beer on the first of the "summer" days.
