Someecards

Y'all know Someecards, right? If not, they're hilarious e-cards you can send on those occasions where you can't find the words to say what you want to say.

In light of the Oscars, I found this one particularly humourous.  I wish they hadn't had Kirk Douglas hand out the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress; it was a cringe-worthy moment, didn't you think?

My favourites? 

Cate did Cate and I think this was my favourite look of the night.  Such a wonderful lavender Givenchy haute couture dress from the Spring 2011.  LOVE HER! She looked absolutely regal!

Mila's Elie Saab dress too,  definitely.  Such a gorgeous lavender colour on her and the lace detailing was so delicate and pretty.

 Natalie had on a lovely purple Rodarte gown that really suited her growing belly and brought out that glow.

Ever elegant and never matronly, Helen was wearing gray gown by Vivienne Westwood.  Such a classy lady, no? 



Reese looked lovely and sleek; loved her 60s pony tail!  Her Armani Privé black and white dress reminded me of Julie Roberts' vintage Valentino the year she won the Oscar.

Anne looked classy in her opening cream Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci gown (I also loved her custom made Brian Atwood heels she wore with her tux during her singing number).  She also pulled off the shiny blue number later in the awards show.



Amy's blue L'Wren Scott gown and retro hairdo really looked stunning on her.

Halle looked as elegant as ever in a nude Marchesa gown; her hair and jewellery were understated as well.

Aishwarya and Abhishek were there!  Ash looked great in a bronze coloured Armani Privé gown.

Jennifer Hudson; omg you guys, how much weight is this woman losing?  Enough now, I say.  Loved the tangerine Versace on her; and understated makeup.  Lovely.

My Misses?

Scarlett (as my BFF said, was too "matronly"), Annette ( I liked the Naeem Khan dress, but not on her, it did nothing for her), Marisa (great colour but not flattering), Hilary (too many feathers, and would it have killed her to wear some earrings?), Nicole Kidman (looked like a napkin or tapestry; too much going on and didn't care for the few strands of hair in her face), Michelle in Chanel (BO-RING! But lovely makeup).

Those are my picks cats!
