Glasgow

First stop was Glasgow, where I was for about a day, until we took the train to Stirling.

Scotland brings to mind, red, brown and grey.  I even packed my red tartan scarf and trench for the occasion (I didn't have to use my scarf because it wasn't quite so cold) but I did see quite a bit of red, brown and grey.

Here, a few from our walk about town.

N’awlins

While I get my act together to upload Scotland and Paris photos, I thought I'd do a post on New Orleans, from summer '08.

Meet the Hamiltons, again!

If you'll remember, we did this shoot in April and it's already August and baby B is expected to arrive any day now, so I thought I'd re-post this one in honour (and anticipation) of baby B! Can't wait to meet you, lil' one! :)

~~

We had a blast shooting with the Hamiltons this past Easter weekend! The first time we captured the family together, it was a Christmas  shoot and photohogger was just starting up!  We always love shooting the Hamiltons, especially Em who's a  ball of energy and a barrel of laughs. They're expecting their 2nd baby boy in August, so it was nice to get the whole family together for a happy spring shoot.  K,S&Em thanks for all your support! xoxo

Crooked

I know the top one is crooked; I attribute that to taking most of my India photographs from within a moving vehicle with closed windows. It wasn't considered safe stopping and getting out to take photographs.

I like how these two work together.

White

Here's a variation of green and pink....

With a touch of white. And wrinkles.

Seen in Jaipur on the way to Amer Palace. I think chairs might be my next thing.

Green + Pink

Since we're on colours.....

Here are some that were taken outside of our hotel in Jaipur.

What a gorgeous pink shawl.

Another possible triptych?

Paint

Speaking of paint...here are more samples of colourful India.

Could make for a good Benjamin Moore ad, no?

Cinema

This one reminds me of a classic Bollywood film.

Boy sees beautiful girl standing on balcony as he rides by on his way to work.

How will this love story end?

360

We had dinner at the CN Tower's 360 restaurant this past weekend. When we used to live across the street from the tower, we always marveled at it's structure and enjoyed seeing the LED colours changing at night.  And the 360 restaurant has a magnificent revolving view of Toronto and is more than 351 metres (1,151 ft) from the ground.   The food and wine were fantastic, as well.  (Foodhogger will have to get on that ;) )

I'm now further convinced that La Tour CN really is a wonderful architectural and engineering wonder of the world, in our city.
