The Lewis Family
Allow me to introduce you to the lovely, warm, fun-loving, cheerful and beautiful Lewis Family, who I had the honor of photographing in Cohasset this past weekend.
I met Suzanne, one third of the Just Us Gals, at this event and was excited to meet her mom, sister and boyfriend as well as the latest edition to the family: French bulldog puppy Pierre, who is just the cutest lil' guy!
Photographed at the end of summer while the grass was still green, the water still sparkling, and the shade of the trees telling stories that would make Autumn jealous....
Hello Molly: Cake Smash
Remember sweet baby Molly who we met last year? She just turned ONE!
To celebrate her big birthday, I thought a Cake Smash photo session would be a terrific idea. You get to eat your cake and smash it, too, right?
Little did we know, Molly doesn't like cake all that much....
Still, she was an absolute trooper and did an amazing job!

Vancouver: a thing of beauty
If you follow me on Instagram, you may recall that we were in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago.
I had never been before, and had always heard how beautiful Vancouver is, how green, how lush, how the mountainsblahblah blah.

Boston: Nemo, 2013
This weekend I experienced the first snowstorm since moving to Boston from Toronto. With everything shut down in the city and a driving ban in full effect, meant no New York Fashion Week for me.
And, I LOVED IT.
It reminded me of the crazy winters of Toronto, and having a SNOW DAY (sure it was the weekend, but still!)
For me, it was a PHOTO DAY. It meant bundling up in snow pants and boots with a camera in one gloved hand and an iPhone in the other. A four hour walk with a break for lunch at the Taj, meant a LOT OF PHOTOS. If you follow me on Instagram, you'll recognize one of these, taken on Charles St. which was a winner on @IgersBoston for the best Nemo coverage in Boston, thank you Igers Boston!
I hope everyone was safe during the blizzard! Props to the city of Boston; the salt trucks, snow plows and police for being on the roads all day clearing the snow!
India: Delhi: Red Fort, Jump

India: Delhi: Lotus Temple
The perfect time to visit the Lotus Temple was at sunset, a sight beautiful to see.
It is open to all visitors, of all religions, which is the basis of Bahai faith, making it simply a house of worship; a place of prayer and meditation.
The temple is made of marble, cemet and sand and was finished in 1986, designed by Persian architect Fariborz Sahba, and took 800 engineers and artisans and 10 years to complete.
Shoes have to be taken off and photography is not allowed inside the temple, but there is enough beauty in it's incredible structure and surroundings to take in.
India: Delhi: Qutab Minar
One of the first stops of sites seen was the Qutab Minar, a 72.5 meter tall tower, made in 1192 of sandstone and marble. A World Heritage Site having survived lightning storms and the test of time, the Qutab Minar has remained an impressive structure of unique and beautiful Islamic design.
They no longer allow people to climb up it and it's already begining to lean, but I'm not the first to notice, apparently, it started to lean shortly after it was built.

Most recently, I was honored to photograph this lil' girl. I visited Delhi and London and also photographed my fave family in Toronto.
There were many exciting journeys to Miami, Disney World, Block Island (which was the perfect backdrop for this), NYC, New Haven, Baltimore and Pennsylvania...

A lot of people are considering shifting away from Instagram in light of their new terms of service and I have to admit, I just started using the new Flickr app, which I think is quite robust.
Still, while in London, I Instagrammed a lot and enjoyed how easy it was to share my adventures, but then I realized, there are also these...the real photographs.

Hello Molly!
I had the honor of photographing baby Molly, recently. There's nothing like capturing the innocence, beauty and fragility of a new baby. Molly had just turned four months old at the time of this shoot and was a professional superstar! Her lovely Mom was a delight to work with, singing tunes that, I admit, I've been singing all week!
So, say "Hello!" to Molly! (And to Buddha, who came to play!)

The Hamilton's IV
The Hamilton's are always a treat for me to capture, and they are no strangers to this blog! Last summer we went nautical in downtown Oakville and the time before that, we took to the barns!
I feel so blessed to have been able to shoot their fourth annual family portraits this year, where our session took place in their gorgeous home and outdoors on a rainy (pre-Hurricane Sandy) fall day...
